This is a Booking Request & Technical Consultation. Given the exclusivity and logistical complexity of our expeditions in Uganda, the booking process is governed by the following conditions: 1. NATURE OF THE REQUEST By completing this online booking, you are submitting a formal itinerary request. This does NOT constitute an immediate confirmation or a travel contract. Your request activates our protocol to verify technical availability (expert guides, vehicles, and accommodations). 2. CONFIRMATION AND CLOSING PROCESS Upon receiving your request, an expert from our team will contact you within a maximum of 24 hours. A detailed final quote will be provided based on the exact number of travelers, your accommodation preferences, and any required personalization. 3. PERMIT POLICY (GORILLAS & CHIMPANZEES) For itineraries including Mountain Gorilla or Chimpanzee tracking, availability is subject to permits issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). These permits are limited and are only guaranteed once the corresponding deposit is received. Once issued, primate permits are typically non-refundable according to government regulations. 4. PRICES AND PAYMENTS Final prices are calculated and negotiated based on the specific itinerary, group size, and trip conditions. Payment will be agreed upon via proforma invoice and processed securely through the payment methods our team provides after final validation of the itinerary and booking. 5. HEALTH AND INSURANCE Once the booking is finalized, our team will inform and advise you on the specific insurance coverage required depending on the nature of your trip. It is an essential requirement that the client declares they are in adequate physical condition for the altitude and technical effort required for each expedition. 6. CANCELLATIONS AND FORCE MAJEURE Since we operate in remote environments, Weismann Safaris & Expeditions reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to force majeure (extreme weather, road conditions, or safety) to ensure the integrity of the travelers. Specific refund policies will be detailed in the final travel contract. 7. LOCAL RESPONSIBILITY By booking with us, you directly support the local economy and our conservation projects in the Kasese and Rwenzori regions.
